Laura Harrison

Research Assistant Professor

Laura received her PhD in Neuroscience from Tulane University under the direction of Dr. James Zadina.  She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University.  Research interests include novel mechanisms of regulation of G protein-coupled receptor signaling and roles of small GTP-binding proteins in signal transduction.

When not in the lab, she is a 35-year practitioner and instructor of the martial art of taekwondo.
